A Place For ACE In The Borough

Newtown's Community Development Director Liz Stocker Told The Bee this week that an ACE Hardware store will be opening soon in the former Brooks Pharmacy and Wachovia Bank spaces within Eton Center at the corner of Queen Street and Church Hill Road.

Workers were seen stocking shelves in the store Wednesday afternoon. In addition to boosting local tax revenues, Ms Stocker said job seekers will find new opportunities as the store is currently hiring. She said the new occupant will fill the last large retail space remaining in the Borough. The store will be operated by a Dorothy and Ed Pitochelli, a husband and wife team from Burlington.
