Dearly Loved Husband, Father, And Grandfather
James H. Pressmar, 60, of Ancram, N.Y., formerly of Middlebury, died October 22. He was born in New Rochelle, N.Y., February 20, 1949, a son of Edward and Edna (Langeloh) Pressmar of Newtown.
He was a graduate of Newtown High School. Mr Pressmar served in the US Navy aboard the USS Enterprise in Vietnam from 1968-1972. He was a plumber for 30 years, and a member of the Danbury Rod and Reel.
Mr Pressmar was the loving husband to Antoinette (Licciardi) Pressmar; devoted father of three children and their significant others, James, Kimberly, and Melissa; and the proud grandfather of one grandson. Survivors also include his mother, a resident of Nunnawauk Meadows; four siblings; and several nieces and nephews.
He was a nature lover who enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, hunting, and boating. He was a hard working father and husband and provided for his family, whom he loved dearly.
Calling hours were scheduled for Thursday, October 29, from 4 to 7 pm, at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
