The Democratic Process

To the Editor:

Here's a salute to Marilyn Place, director of Newtown Senior Center, who articulated on March 11 at the Senior Center many avenues of approach to many of us seniors for all of us to obtain new surroundings via our wonderful democratic life here in Newtown.

We have strong "direction" as to how to share democratically all that we desire. Having lived through WWII, it was heartwarming to be able to peacefully voice all our opinions and then know we can safely act here in Newtown for the pure freedom we seek as seniors and, of course, this all pertains to everyone of any age here in Newtown.
