Newtown Second In Brookfield Clash Tourney

Newtown's 9-year-old baseball team was runner-up in the Brookfield Clash tournament the weekend of June 27 and 28.

With a win over New Milford and two victories over Danbury, Newtown finally ran out of steam against Southbury in its third game on Sunday.

Newtown will begin district tournament play on Sunday, July 12 at the Glander fields.
