Lacrosse Players Win New York Tourney

Newtown Youth Lacrosse players joined forces with players from the region to win a tourney in New York during the first weekend of August.
Newtown Youth Lacrosse players, along with their teammates of the CT Lakers, a U13 team, competed at Golden Goal Tournament Park in Fort Ann, NY during the first weekend of August.
The team took home the Golden Goal tourney championship trophy, defeating teams from the Tri-state area. Newtown players were as follows: Deegan Beauchemin (midfielder), Brandon Powell (attack/midfielder), Alec Beauchemin (midfielder) and CJ Dunn (defenseman).
