*TOWER OF POWER will be at The Palace Theater in Waterbury on Saturday, April 27, at 8 pm.

Tickets are $40 and can be purchased online at www.PalaceTheaterCT.org, by phone at 203-346-2000, or in person at the box office, 100 East Main Street in Waterbury.

A special VIP ticket package is also available for $75, which includes orchestra seating and admission to a pre-show reception featuring appetizers, stuffed breads, mini pizzas, stuffed mushrooms and tortellini by D’Amelios Italian Eatery.

*MIRANDA LAMBERT and DIERKS BENTLEY will co-headline an August 3 show at The Comcast Theatre in Hartford, and tickets — $29.75 for the lawn, $54.50 for reserved seating — will be on sale Friday morning at 10, through TicketMaster.com (by way of LiveNation.com, outlets and Charge-By-Phone (800-745-3000).

The show will include special guest Kix Brooks and feature RaeLynn.

*Tickets will also be going on sale Friday morning for a July 3 show by rock legends THE DOOBIE BROTHERS at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville.

Those tickets are $39.50 each and will be available through TicketMaster online and vendors for the first 24 hours, and then also at the casino’s box office beginning Saturday morning at 10.

*A reminder this week that tickets for a June 15 MATCHBOX TWENTY and GOO GOO DOLLS co-headlining show at Mohegan Sun Arena on August 13 will also be going on sale Friday morning.

Tickets are $49 and $69, and will be available through TicketMaster beginning at 10 am Friday, April 12, and then also at the casino’s box office Saturday morning.

*BOZ SCAGGS is bringing his Memphis Tour to The Warner Theatre on July 5 and tickets go on sale… well, you know. Follow the pattern.

Reserved tickets will be available beginning at 10 am online at www.WarnerTheatre.org or charge by phone at 860-489-7180, and these are priced from $44.50 to $77.50.

*Also on Friday, local guys THE ADULTS will be at Proud Mary’s at The Inn at Newtown.

*If you have missed all the press releases and calendar listings in The Bee, not to mention notes sent out by HealingNewtown, there will also be a fundraising concert at Edmond Town Hall Friday night. Tickets are just $15 for the 7 pm show in the town hall theater.

The concert, billed as “Random Acts of Music,” will feature performances by BOPLICITY, BRETT BOLES, MARY BETH SIPPIN & GOLDRUSH, NEWTOWN HIGH SCHOOL JAZZ ENSEMBLE, NEWTOWN HIGH SCHOOL SINGERS and SMOKEBOMB MONDAYS. All proceeds will benefit the arts center at 5 Queen Street (which will probably be moving to a new location within the month, but does plan to continue healing classes, workshops, concerts, dances and more for as long as possible).

Tickets will be available at the door, 45 Main Street, but you can call 203-364-9230.
