The next meeting of Newtown Genealogy Club will be on Wednesday, March 13, at 7 pm. The club meets at C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street.

The speaker this month will be Toni McKeen. Her program, “Tips & Tricks for Using Ancestry.com Successfully,” will share the most effective way to do research on the ever-changing online resources at Ancestry.com.

Ms McKeen is a member of Newtown Genealogy Club. She is a popular speaker at genealogy groups in the tri-state area. She is a published instructor of genealogy and a very interesting speaker on many subjects dealing with genealogy.

Refreshments will be served, and guests are invited free of charge.

Memberships are available in the club. Dues are $20 a year for a single membership, and $30 a year for a family membership.

The club maintains a Genealogy Room on the main level of the library. On Mondays, Harlan Jessup, the club’s professional genealogist is present between 2 and 4 pm for assistance.
