The Working Women’s Forum (WWF), an association of local professionals and entrepreneurs will feature a program on “Blogging 101 and Beyond,” by Susan Jensen Smith, during its first meeting of the 2013-14 season on September 11. WWF meets at The Villa Restaurant, 4 Riverside Road in Sandy Hook.
Ms Smith is the founder and editor of YourHomeOnlyBetter.com. She also writes for HomeGoods.com and MyHomeScience.com, as well as blogging at SusanJensenSmith.com.
Ms Jensen and her family moved to Sandy Hook last year, and she is enthusiastic about helping others find their voice to engage with their target audience.
“Blogging 101 and Beyond” will cover why someone should have a blog, how to get started, best practices for success, and return of investment, or ROI.
WWF programs begin at 6 pm with networking and dinner, followed by the guest speaker. Cost is $25 per person ($10 for members), and reservations are requested.
The group will be accepting canned food, personal health and beauty items for FAITH Food Pantry.
