    Nearly two years ago, we survived an unimaginably horrific day. Twenty-six families would never be the same.  Many more were changed forever.  Through the nightmare of the days that followed, my best-friend, my husband, repeated in my ear:  “Something good will come of this.” Impossible, I thought.  Just impossible.

    It’s that time of year again. The 4th annual Passport  to Sandy Hook [Saturday, October 11 from 11 am to 4 pm in Sandy Hook Center]. We are so excited here at Family Fun Kuts and Fun Kids Consignments to share a Fun-filled day with all of our friends and customers. We are looking forward to seeing old faces and new ones and making new friends.

    I would like to thank The Newtown Bee in regards to their coverage of the recent bomb threats on Sandy Hook Elementary School. Although this can be a hard topic to return to, The Bee reported with objectivity and taste. It was detailed, informative, and went above and beyond the coverage of many mainstream news sites with in-depth reporting of the debriefing for parents and the terroristic nature of the threat.
