Celebrating its 25th anniversary this month, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation will be screened for three days at Edmond Town Hall Theatre, 45 Main Street.
Released in December 1989, the film stars Chevy Chase, Beverly D’Angelo, Randy Quaid, Juliette Lewis, Johnny Galecki, Dianne Ladd, Doris Roberts, William Hickey, John Randolph, and E.G. Marshall. The film was the third release in the National Lampoon series that followed the Griswold family through adventures, but the only one that kept them at home.
UPDATE (Saturday, May 18, 2014): The 7 pm screening of Ninotchka that was originally scheduled to be offered on May 25 has been postponed. Organizers will screen that at a later date, TBA. In its place, a second screening of The Wizard of Oz will be offered at 7 pm on Sunday, May 25.
Edmond Town Hall Theatre has extended its run of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.
Originally scheduled to play until February 13, the Board of Managers this week announced that the film will be extended through the weekend of February 15-16. Screenings are planned for Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7 and 9:10, and Saturday afternoon at 1 and 4.
Following a special one-night encore showing of The Conjuring on Thursday, October 24, an audience at Edmond Town Hall Theatre was treated to a question and answer session with Lorraine Warren and Tony Spera.
