Newtown Continuing Education has announced it has openings for its upcoming “Piloxing” course.
Piloxing is an exciting fitness program that blends Pilates, boxing, and dance into a high-energy interval workout, according to Continuing Education.
In a 55-minute class, participants experience the power, speed, and agility of boxing and muscle-sculpting and flexibility of Pilates. The unique combination is guaranteed to maximize cardiovascular health and build lean muscles, according to Newtown Continuing Education.
A free 30- minute demonstration of the course will be offered on Monday, February 24, from 7 to 7:30 pm. Call Newtown Continuing Education, 203-426-1787, to reserve a spot for the demonstration.
The Piloxing course will be offered on Mondays, starting March 10, for eight classes, for a fee of $94.
