The Friends of the C.H. Booth Library counts on donations dropped off to the library for the Annual Book Sale, the biggest fundraiser of the year for the library support organization. With the library closed due to flooding all of January and February, fewer donations than normal have been received.
“We are especially looking forward to this year’s Spring Book Donation Day to help get us on track for the big summer book sale,” said Friends’ public relations spokesperson Toni Earnshaw.
The Spring Book Donation Day is scheduled for Sunday, May 4, from noon to 5 pm, in the rear lot of the C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street. Donations of books, CDs, DVDs, LPs, games, puzzles, and computer games are welcome. Volunteers will be on hand to assist with boxes of books, and tax receipts are available. Donation Day takes place rain or shine.
