Helping Those Who Are Helped By Amos House

To the Editor

On behalf of the board and staff of Amos House, I want to extend my sincere thanks to all those who made our 2013 Spring Breakfast a big success.  As our major fundraiser of the year, the breakfast plays an important financial role for our organization.

However, it is the personal connections made surrounding the event that serve as the real support behind our program. We were all fortunate to confirm our connection with late great Annie Orr, in renaming the Good Samaritan award after her and awarding it to Peter Brady, a true disciple of all that Annie stood for.  Having the opportunity to hear from a recent program participant and learning of her struggles and success in moving on to independent living reminded all of us what Amos House is truly all about.  These are the things that make everything about Amos House so special.

We look forward to continuing our important work in helping homeless families in the Greater Danbury area, and thank you all again for your continued support.

Best regards,

Michael Byl
