Protestors On Both Sides Of The Argument

A crowd of protesters both supporting their Second Amendment rights and the National Rifle Association, and a large faction pushing for stronger gun legislation in the wake of 12/14, gathered at the intersection of Wasserman Way and Queen Street late Thursday afternoon. More than 100 protesters — many with handmade signs or carrying flags — crowded the curb after 4:30 pm as drivers in rush hour traffic beeped in support. The crowd Thursday was the largest seen to date. A Newtown couple appeared in the same location — outside the offices of the National Sport Shooting Foundation (NSSF) — on March 14, and a larger group appeared there last week.
