Police Seek Missing Man

Newtown police are attempting to find a missing man, Robert Hoagland, 50, of Sandy Hook, who was last seen inside the convenience store at the Mobil gas station at 62 Church Hill Road at about 5:30 am on Sunday, July 28.

Hoagland is white, six feet tall, and weighs 175 pounds. He is bald and has blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and khaki shorts.

Anyone with knowledge of Hoagland’s whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Daniel McAnaspie or Detective Jason Frank at the Newtown Police Department at 3 Main Street, telephone 203-426-5841.

We really need more information on Mr. Hoagland - what kind of car does he drive? Any direction of travel? Any updates, hopefully? Many thanks and hope this gentleman has been found or can be found safe soon.

No New Information

Police said at 9 am on Monday, August 5 that they are continuing their investigation into the possible whereabouts of the missing Hogland. Police said that have no new information on the case.
