Second Music For Newtown Auction Goes Live Today, Proceeds To Benefit Resiliency Center

Music For Newtown will hold its second online auction January 22-29. Numerous artists, including Lorde, Miley Cyrus, Brittany Spears, Black Sabbath and many others have donated special limited edition items to the online auction. Bidding opens at 3 pm today, and will continue until 9 pm Wednesday, January 29.

All of the proceeds will benefit The Resiliency Center of Newtown which offers long-term healing to those impacted by 12/14 to help these individuals reach their full potential. The center is a program of Tuesday’s Children, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Among the auction items this year are autographed guitars from Anberlin and Florida-Georgia Line, and a Black Sabbath poster signed by Ozzy and Geezer.  There are also signed photos from Florida Georgia Line and Psy, a ZZ Ward signed postcast, signed CDs from Bon Jovi and Cassadee Pope, signed vinyl from Jack Johnson, and two tickets and meet & greet to any one of their shows on the MTV Artist To Watch Tour.

Also up for auction are a signed drumhead from The 1975, signed lithograph from AFI, and a signed set list from The Naked and Famous. TBA items will be available from the likes of Blue October, Ellie Goulding, Black Veil Brides, and more.

Bidding will take place at www.24fundraiser.com/musicfornewtown

All announced items are listed on the bidding site. Most shipping prices will range from $5 to $25 (additional charges may be incurred for international orders), and will be added before auction begins.

Donations are also accepted directly through the site during the auction or by sending Music For Newtown a check made out to Resiliency Center of Newtown.
