George J. Lazor, 82, of Monroe, beloved husband of Agnes Tavella Lazor, died peacefully August 1 at St Vincent’s Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Meriden, August 3, 1932, he was a son of the late George J. and Frieda Afeldt Lazor.
Caroline Soracin, 98, of Trumbull, the beloved wife of the late William J. Soracin, Sr, died peacefully in her sleep July 31. She was born in Port Chester, N.Y., and was the daughter of the late Tomasina and Michael Delvey.
Robert T. Wilkes, Jr, 71, formerly of Newtown, died July 29. He was born in Danbury, the son of Mabel (Petitt) and Robert Wilkes Sr. Mr Wilkes retired as real estate manager for the US Postal Service, and moved to Florida in 2000.
