Vera C. (Ott) Nosal, 90, of Fairfield, beloved wife of 68 years of Frank M. Nosal, died peacefully, with her loving family by her side, September 4, following a brief illness. Born October 16, 1922, in Ridgeley, W.V., she was the daughter of the late James and Catherine (Fisher) Ott.
Nils Steve Svensen, 82, of Ansonia, died peacefully, September 5, at Griffin Hospital, surrounded by family. Born January 17, 1931, in New Britain, he was the son of the late Sven and Linda (Anderson) Svensen.
Corrine C. Wright, 50, of Danbury and formerly of Stamford, died suddenly and unexpectedly September 4, at her residence. She was born in Stamford, August 16, 1963, to Carol H. Aguire and Reynold H. Bauer.
Arthur “Frank” Johnson, Sr, 80, a 50-year resident of Brookfield, beloved husband of the late Marion (Joyce) Johnson, died peacefully at Bethel Healthcare, September 8. He was born in Syracuse, N.Y., November 20, 1932.
Joseph R. Franzino, 86, of Heritage Village, died unexpectedly, September 2, at his home. He was born December 22, 1926, in Bridgeport, son of Giovanni and Giustina (Favaro) Franzino. He was the husband of Arline (Rojas) Franzino. Besides his loving wife of 62 years, he leaves his three sons, Gregg A. Franzino, and his wife Cindy, of Sandy Hook, Dr Ronald J. Franzino, and his wife Marie, of Putnam, and Joseph J. Franzino, and his wife Dorota, of Redding; five grandchildren; three brothers, John Franzino of Louisiana, Peter Franzino of Florida, and Justin Franzino of Oregon; and many nieces and nephews.
Jean Duckworth, 78, beloved wife for 30 years of Robert G. Duckworth, died peacefully at the Norwalk Hospital, August 29. She was born March 27, 1935, in Manchester, England, the daughter of John and Emily Leicester. She moved to Canada in 1957, and then came to the United States in 1959.

Marc Danuszar, 84, of Westport, died September 2, at Masonicare of Newtown. He was born in Newtown, March 6, 1929, a son of Mary (Washicko) and Thomas Danuszar. He was the husband of Rosa (DeGrazia) Danuszar.
Rocco F. Colavito, 84, of Sandy Hook, and previously of Katonah, N.Y., died peacefully, August 29. He was born July 7, 1929, in the Bronx, N.Y. Mr Colavito was the husband of the late Marilyn (Patrick) Colavito, who died in 1991, after 32 years of marriage.
