Thomas F. Jacob, 84, formerly of Newtown, died July 20, in St Augustine, Fla. He was born August 2, 1930, to Margaret (Murphy) and Phillip Jacob in Bridgeport. On June 30, 1951, he married Joan Stefanik at St Charles Church in Bridgeport.
Janet E. Peterson, 87, died July 18 in Stroudsburg, Penn., after a brief illness. She was born in Danbury, November 16, 1927, and was the daughter of the late Anne (Leheny) and Edward Gates. She lived most of her life in Bethel.
Lillian “Sis” Morris, 92, of Newtown died peacefully July 18, surrounded by her family. Born October 31, 1922, to Lillian and John Wrabel in Bridgeport, she grew up in Fairfield and graduated from St Thomas Elementary and Roger Ludlow High School before working for the Dictaphone Company, Covair Aircraft and eventually advancing to become vice president of Reliable Plating and Polishing Company.
Anna M. Bonacci, 92, of Danbury died July 13, surrounded by her loving family, at Danbury Hospital. She was the wife of Felix A. Bonacci. She was born April 2, 1923, in Chatel Sur Moselle, France, and was the daughter of the late Eugene (Martin) and Jules Hoberdon.
