• A Typo In Granite

    An accidental misspelling on a recently installed Dickinson Park sign will need to be corrected.

     “It will have to be recast,” said Parks & Recreation Department Director Amy Mangold regarding a granite sign put in place late last week outside the A. Fenn Dickinson Memorial Park. Fenn has been carved as Finn on the sign.

  • Parks & Rec Announces Special Events For Residents

    Newtown Parks & Recreation Department will host three special events this month. All three are free of charge, but they are also for Newtown residents only.

    The first will be “Mad Science Special Event: Up, Up and Away!” on Saturday, March 9.
