Occupation: I’m a financial advisor. I work for People’s Securities, which is a division of People’s United Bank. I work with individuals mostly, to help them get to a comfortable place with their investments. It’s a lot of fun and it’s challenging, but very rewarding. My office is in Fairfield.

Occupation: I’m retired from Praxair, Inc in Danbury. I was a lawyer in the law department for 23 years. Now I volunteer at Danbury Hospital in the Praxair Center, and with Meals On Wheels in Newtown.

Occupation: I’m a surgical physician assistant with the Hospital of Central Connecticut, in New Britain.
Family: My husband Roy is a lieutenant in the Norwalk fire department. We have three children. Mitchell is 3 years old, and we have twins who will be 1 year old on April 29. We now have an au pair living with us, Hanna, who helps us take care of everyone.
Pets: We have a cocker spaniel named Sugar. She’s 4 years old.

Occupation: I’m a geneticist by training. I’m retired from WestConn, but still teaching local flora there. Formerly, for 32 years, I taught genetics and plant physiology there.
Family: I have three daughters, Karyl Evans, Diane Norbutus, and Tracy Johnson — all grown up now, of course. I have six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Occupation: I work for A New Beginning Salon and Day Spa in Bethel, doing the social media and marketing. I’m also delighted to be a homemaker.
Family: I’ve been married to Chris Winans since 1991. Our daughter, Grace, is 18 and at UConn in the Business School. Our son, Peter, 15, is a sophomore at Newtown High School.

Occupation: I am an attorney, with an office in Danbury on Mill Plain Road. I practice a lot of different kinds of law — wills, probate, small business-related law, criminal defense — that sort of thing.
Family: I’ve been married to Julie for seven and a half years. We have a son, Gus, who is just 9 months old. My folks, Paul and Helen Krueger, live here in Newtown, too.

Occupation: I’m a naturopathic physician. I’ve been practicing for about a year. I taught for a while after graduating in 2009 from the University of Bridgeport College of Natural Medicine. I do all kinds of naturopathic medicine and specialize in naturopathic oncology.
Family: I’m married to Andrew Hardial. We have a son, Delroy, who is 22. Our daughter is Asia, and she is 9 years old, and our little one is Aeden, and he is 7 years old.

Occupation: I’m the head of the Reference Department at C.H. Booth Library. I manage that department and collections on the third floor and manage the Reference Department staff. I deal with public requests for materials and handle interlibrary loans that come into our department. It’s really more accurate these days to call it “Information Services,” than “Reference.”

Occupation: I’m a banker with People’s United Bank. I’m a reserve manager, so I cover the offices in Monroe, Newtown, and Southbury.
Family: I’ve been married for 15 years to Betsy. We have two kids. Rachel is 8 years old. She is a third grader at Sandy Hook Elementary School. We have a son who was stillborn, three years ago, named Andrew. We miss him tremendously.

Occupation: I’m president of Sibley Smart Copy, LLC, a content marketing firm. I do all kinds of copyediting and am a content generator for many companies. It is pretty much anything and everything that can be written for content web or print marketing purposes.
Family: I’ve been married to Rob for almost 17 years. We have three children. Daniel is 10 years old, and we have twins, Stephen and Brian, who are 6 years old.
