  • EverWonder Children’s Museum Reaches Challenge Grant Goal For March Re-Opening

    EverWonder Children’s Museum is aiming to reopen its doors at 31 Pecks Lane in late March, thanks to a recent and successful fundraising campaign.

    Museum coordinators credit a $40,000 Challenge Grant from the Jeniam Foundation and the EverWonder Children’s Museum Board of Directors with reaching the $80,000 needed to reopen the museum’s doors.

    The Fairfield Hills Authority members emerged from a brief and at times volatile meeting Wednesday with a motion: to earmark Plymouth Hall as a potential future site for a children's museum, subject to approvals by all town boards and agencies, and fundraising. The motion passed with six in favor, and one opposed.
