  • Chamber, Rotary Business Of The Year Kickoff Event Planned

    Newtown Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club of Newtown will host a joint networking event Monday, February 16, from 6 to 8 pm, at Newtown Country Club, 2 Country Club Road. Along with fostering relationships between both groups, the purpose of the meeting is to kick off the 11th Annual Newtown Business of the Year recognition program.

  • Lighting Up The Season

    To The Editor:

    Thank you everyone for taking in stride the rescheduling of the 29th Ram Pasture Christmas Tree lighting.  Our gain was a sparkling clear night and a snow covered setting that showed off the 2,200 luminaria, which lined the streets and pasture and led the way to our Christmas Trees in a true winter wonderland.

  • Snow Date For Chamber Holiday & New Member Party At Foundry

    The Newtown Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Holiday and New Member Welcome party on Thursday, December 19, starting at 5:30 pm in the newly renovated Warner Loft, the upstairs entertainment room of the Foundry Kitchen and Tavern, at 1 Glen Road, Sandy Hook.

    The event was to be held December 17, but was postponed due to snow.Everyone is welcome to attend.

  • Wells Fargo Branch Hosting Chamber Gathering

    Wells Fargo Bank will host a Newtown Chamber Business Gathering on Wednesday, June 19, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, in the local branch at 26 Church Hill Road. 

    Along with a networking reception, guests will have the opportunity to meet Wells Fargo representatives from the banking group, mortgage group, and financial advisory group at the Newtown branch. Appetizers and wine will be served.

  • Llodra To Be Featured At Chamber Breakfast Event

    In order to help foster business opportunities in the greater Newtown area, The Newtown Chamber of Commerce is hosting another free monthly networking session open to all local business professionals.

    The next event is sponsored by Charter Business and will feature two keynote speakers: Patricia Llodra, First Selectman of Newtown; and Ben Eison, Account Executive for Charter Business.
