  • Quiet Life Pumped Up For Edmond Town Hall Concert

    The Quiet Life — from left, Philippe Bronchtein, Sean W. Spellman, Ryan Spellman and Thor Robert Jensen — is planning to pump up the crowd December 20 when they headline the ninth show in Newtown’s Live at the Edmond Town Hall concert series. Opening is Newtown bluegrass guitar/mandolin phenom Korey Brodsky (below).

  • Quiet Life To Headline Next ‘Live At The Edmond Town Hall’ Benefit

    On Saturday, December 20, at 7 pm, Quiet Life will headline the ninth show in Newtown’s Live at the Edmond Town Hall series.

    Sparks flew when Quiet Life formed in New London, where New England meets the Sound. From there, the group ran down a dream to the California coast, and then fled for the northwestern charm of Portland, Ore. Just a pair of brothers and a few good friends in a van that runs on waste veggie oil.

  • Hayden Bates Bringing ‘Most High Profile Show Yet’ To ETH, Saturday

    The year before the Sandy Hook tragedy propelled Newtown into the hearts and minds of people across the globe, resident and finance industry expert Hayden Bates set out to bring a broader range of world-class artists in to play in the intimate Edmond Town Hall Theater, in part to raise funds to improve the classic Main Street venue.

  • Multi-Faceted Kozelek To Play Special Solo Show At ETH, September 20

    On Saturday, September 20, at 7:30 pm, Mark Kozelek of Sun Kil Moon and Red House Painters will headline the eighth show in the Live at the Edmond Town Hall series.

    Kozelek has been called one of the greatest songwriters to emerge from an exceptionally strong period for alternative music: the early ‘90s. His outfit from that decade, Red House Painters, crafted a haunting body of work, unparalleled in its vulnerability and honesty.

  • Next Guests For Live At ETH: The Autumn Defense, Friday Evening

    Promoter Hayden Bates has tapped Wilco alumni Pat Sansone and John Stirratt for the next Live at Edmond Town Hall concert, with opening support from singer-songwriter Amanda Bloom. The pair will be appearing in their own ensemble The Autumn Defense, which recently released its fifth project, appropriately titled Fifth.

  • Wilco’s Stirratt & Sansone To Perform At Edmond Town Hall

    On Friday, June 6, at 6 pm, the Live at the Edmond Town Hall series will spotlight the Autumn Defense. Amanda Bloom and her band will open. Tickets are $20. 

  • Live At ETH, With Series Opener, Returns Friday

    On Friday, April 11, acclaimed Providence, R.I., rock group Low Anthem returns to the Edmond Town Hall, performing the next Live At Edmond Town Hall concert.
