Bunny Watch

  • Bunny Watch 2014 Preparations Underway

For the fourth year in a row, Newtown High School Odyssey of the Mind team members are gearing up to offer the annual Bunny Watch, a fundraiser for the group to attend the World Finals of the problem-solving competition.

  • The Top of the Mountain

Mother Nature had to stick her tongue out at us one last time this season, on Monday morning. A coating of sleet and giant snowflakes were not what I wanted to see, but I’m hoping that is the last of the wintry weather. The daffodils and crocuses poking up through the soil around town are giving me hope that spring truly is imminent.

  • Bunny Watch Hopping With Excitement

A bouncy house was set up, tickets were ready, and a number of “bunnies” were starting to arrive by 10 am on Friday, March 29, for the first day of this year’s Bunny Watch, near Glander Field on the Fairfield Hills campus.

The Bunny Watch has been held annually for the last couple of years as a fundraiser for local Odyssey of the Mind teams. The event is set to be open from 10 am until 4 pm on both Friday, and Saturday, March 29.

  • Bunny Watch To Return March 29 & 30

For the third year a Newtown High School Odyssey of the Mind team will be hosting a Bunny Watch near Glander Field on the Fairfield Hills campus on March 29 and 30.

Last year the NHS Odyssey of the Mind team and a Reed Intermediate School team set up the second Bunny Watch as a fundraiser to help the two teams attend the national level of the problem-solving competition.
