Pepper’s Dragons is a children’s story book written by Stacia Bjarnason, PhD, a clinical psychologist who has been helping some of the children of Sandy Hook since 12/14. She has found that working with fairy tales can give children a safe way to talk about upsetting things in a less threatening way.

WASHINGTON – Parents and family members of slain Sandy Hook Elementary School students and educators fanned out on Capitol Hill Tuesday to make 11th-hour pitches to try to rescue gun-control legislation that's in limbo in the Senate – at least for now.
“We bring a face to this tragedy,” said Mark Barden, who lost his son Daniel. “People should listen to what we have to say and move the debate forward.”

WEST HARTFORD — Hoping to re-energize pro-gun safety efforts on Capitol Hill, President Obama visited Connecticut on Monday, using this state's sweeping new reforms as a catalyst.
The president told an audience of thousands that packed the University of Hartford’s Sports Center that gun safety advocates must speak loudly — and immediately — if substantive federal legislation is to have any chance.
