  • Ben’s Bells Will Ring Out From Newtown Studio

    Mary Ann Cantor, seated, and Jodie Adolfson make Kindness Coins, in preparation of the grand opening of Ben’s Bells Newtown, on July 13. Guests on July 13 can choose to glaze the coins, which will eventually be distributed to area schools, or make or glaze original beads for Ben’s Bells.   

  • Ben’s Bells Newtown Workshop, June 5 At NUMC

    All are invited to spread intentional kindness by participating in a Ben’s Bells workshop on Wednesday, June 5, from 6-8 pm, at Newtown United Methodist Church.

    Jeannette Maré, founder of the Ben’s Bells Project and Ben’s mom, will be at this workshop to talk about the project, which was inspired by the kindness extended to her following the sudden death of her two-year old son. The Tuscon, Ariz.-based non-profit promotes and celebrates intentional kindness.

  • Ben’s Bells Newtown Evening Workshop Bumped To May 31

    Due to a scheduling conflict, a Ben’s Bells Newtown workshop that had been planned for May 30 at Newtown United Methodist Church has been rescheduled to Friday, May 31.

    Those who had already registered for the original date have already been put on the guest list for the new date.

    “We hope everyone is still able to attend that night. If you are not able to, please let [us] know so [we] can release your ticket for someone else to attend,” said a May 14 email from the Ben’s Bells Newtown team.

  • Bubblemania! Returning, With Laughter And Joy For Families, April 27

    The Newtown Junior Women’s Club (NJWC) is pleased to announce it will host international comic bubble artist Casey Carle, the mastermind of Bubblemania!, on Saturday, April 27, at Edmond Town Hall. This soapy spectacular combines visual comedy, quick wit, and Big Band music with beautiful bubbles, creating an interactive treat for the whole family.
