    What a tremendous success the Newtown Republican Town Committee's Family BBQ and Picnic was last Sunday at Treadwell Park. The weather was hot, but the drinks were cold, and good food was served to all in attendance.

    The Newtown Republican Town Committee is calling all party members who may currently, or at some point in the future, consider serving their community in an elected or appointed capacity. And for the first time, the GOP is actively recruiting unaffiliated voters who may have expertise or knowledge they can contribute by filling Republican vacancies on appointed boards.

  • Town Republicans Endorse Llodra, Incumbent-Heavy Slate For Local Offices

    Stating “We have a slate of excellent candidates,” Newtown Republican Town Committee Secretary Carey Schierloh released the names of residents seeking local office or reelection following an RTC caucus at Edmond Town Hall on Monday, July 22. Local Democrats plan to caucus July 23 and a list of the Town Committee’s nominations will be available following that meeting, set for 7 pm in the Edmond Town Hall gym.
