    Last year’s first Family Fun Day, through Two Coyotes Wilderness School at Sticks and Stones Farm, saw many families with children enjoying an afternoon reconnecting with nature.

  • Hand Drums & Hula Hoops, 'An Uplifting Morning At Sticks & Stones' Planned

    My Circles of Love is inviting Newtown residents to turn off the TV, unplug and join them on Saturday, December 14, for an uplifting morning of Hand Drums & Hula Hoops, indoors at Sticks & Stones Farm.

    Janet and Michael Maurice will lead drumming and hooping; rhythm sticks and dancing ribbons will also be available. No experience is necessary.

    The event is from 9:30 to 11:30 am, and is open to residents of all ages. Cider, coffee and morning snacks will be offered.

  • Ukulele Invitational, Sunday At Sticks & Stones Farm

    The Seventh Connecticut Ukulele Invitational will be at Sticks and Stones Farm on Sunday, July 28, from 3 to 6 pm. It will be hosted by The Edukated Fleas. Donations are suggested, which will support the farm.

    Ukulele performers, and anyone with any interest in the instrument, are all invited for a great ukulele afternoon. There will be a lineup of ukulele performers from Connecticut and beyond, including special guest Uncle Zac. Play-alongs will also be part of the festival.
