• Well Attended Rockin’ The 'Ville A Success

    As the Rockin’ The ‘Ville event was underway at the Hawleyville Volunteer Fire & Rescue on Saturday, June 13, Jami Zapata, a firefighter engineer and Hawleyville’s organizer for the occasion, was busy making her way between setting up different areas of activity.

    “People were extremely generous with their donations,” said Ms Zapata, who also said a large committee with the Stony Hill Four Corners Business Association (SH4C) worked tirelessly to make the event possible.

  • All Invited To Community Craft & Tag Sale In Hawleyville

    Hawleyville Volunteer Fire Company and Big Buddha Cigar Lounge will co-host a Community Craft & Tag Sale on Sunday, September 14, from 9 am to 4 pm. The event will be presented at the firehouse at 34 Hawleyville Road.

    While previously announced as taking place at both locations, organizers have decided to present everything at the fire station and its property in order to alleviate the need to pedestrian traffic crossing Route 25.

    Hawleyville Fire members will be grilling food, and also offering drinks for purchase.

  • Benefit Tag Sale Held For Hawleyville Fire & Rescue Company

    The Stony Hill Four Corners Association held a community tag sale on Sunday, September 15, to benefit Hawleyville Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company.

    The Stony Hill Four Corners (SH4C) Association comprises businesses along and around Stony Hill Road between Exits 8 and 9 of Interstate 84 in both Hawleyville and the Stony Hill area of Bethel.
