  • FCCF Giving Day Returns On March 5

    Area nonprofit groups are hoping to hear from regular supporters and new fans when the Fairfield County Community Foundation (FCCF) presents its second annual online Day of Giving. FCCF is again collaborating with Bank of America with the 24 hours of online donations.

    Fairfield County Giving Day 2014 raised a total of $745,729.64. The event this year has a goal of $1 million.

  • 24-Hour Fundraiser Nets More Than $25,000 For Newtown Nonprofits

    For 24 hours on March 7, many Newtown nonprofit groups were among those benefiting from an online fundraising initiative. The first Fairfield County Giving Day, promoted by the Fairfield County Community Foundation, raised $745,729 for more than 250 local nonprofits. Newtown’s nonprofits raised more than $25,000.

  • Cultural Alliance Of Western Connecticut Receives Grants

    Recognizing the intrinsic value and impact of arts and economic partners working side by side as an enriching influence on the communities of the Housatonic Valley, the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut has received two 2014 grants for its ongoing services and efforts on behalf of the ten town region.
