    Thoughtful, diligent, thorough, and complete are a few of the words Michael Talluto chose to describe the work being done by the New Director Search Committee of the Board of Trustees of C.H. Booth Library. Mr Talluto, a member of the board, is the chairman of the committee, and has been selected by the group to serve as spokesperson.

  • Library Board Hears Report On Director Search Focus Groups

    Dawn La Valle, Division of Library Development from the Connecticut State Library, reported to the C.H. Booth Library Board of Trustees, April 8, on the results of focus groups convened to comment on the library’s search for a new director.

  • Library Director Search Focus Groups Begin

    Four members of the Young Adult Council of C.H. Booth Library and seven community members met Monday, March 31, with consultants from the Connecticut State Library to provide input regarding the selection of a new director for the library.

    Dawn LaValle, director of the Division of Library Development, and Mary Engels, director of the Middletown Library Service Center, facilitated the afternoon meeting for the young people, and the evening meeting that was open to the public.
