  • Sandy Hook Fathers Cycle 192 Miles In Pan Mass Challenge

    Four Sandy Hook fathers, John Principi, Brendan Duffy, Matt Murphy, and Jeremy O’Connell, cycled 192 miles in the Pan Mass Challenge August 3 and 4. The ride took the cyclists from Sturbridge to Bourne on day one and then Bourne to Provincetown day two.

  • Free Public Events At NYA

    Donations made to Newtown Youth Academy Sports & Fitness Center (NYA) make it possible for the center to offer a number of programs to the Newtown community this month at no charge. There are events for all ages, from open soccer and open lacrosse times, an open house for college age students to have the opportunity to use the academy's turf, basketball and tennis courts, and even the chance for anyone age 14 and up to participate in a Fitness Extreme Workshop. Registration is requested for each event.
