    Joy Ruth (Abrams) Ginsberg, 88, of Newtown, devoted wife and best friend of Louis S. Ginsberg, died at her home, June 12. Born in Stamford, May 14, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Rose (Cohen) Abrams.

    Anna Benedetto Gargano, 95, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Joseph Gargano, died June 11, at Carolton Chronic Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport June 24, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Vito and Erminia Gallucci Benedetto.

    Stanley G. Germain, 73, of Vernon, died June 12, at Hartford Hospital. Born April 16, 1940, in Cambridge, N.Y., son of Raymond and Rose (Geaudreau) Germain, he lived in Long Island, N.Y. and Dallas, Penn., prior to moving to Vernon last year.

    Patricia (Beechel) Froehly, 67, 40-year resident of Westport, beloved wife, daughter, sister, godmother, and aunt, died June 9, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Richmond Hills, Queens, N.Y., March 13, 1946, a daughter of Vincent Beechel, Sr of Newtown and Frances (Cuffe) Beechel, who is now deceased. She was the wife of Kenneth M. Froehly.

    Mary Frances “Frankie” Hanrahan, 80, of Venice, Fla., and formerly of Newtown, died June 6, in Easton, Md. She was born February 23, 1933, in Villanova, Penn.

    Leonard David Shwartz, 81, of Westport, died June 8, after a long illness. He was born October 11, 1931, in the Bronx, N.Y., to Harry Shwartz and Bertha Weitz Shwartz, both now deceased.

    William J. “Red” Sanderson, 80, of Bridgeport, beloved husband for 55 years to Minnie Rua Sanderson, died June 4, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born November 21, 1932, in Hartford, to James and Sarah (Koenig) Sanderson.
