  • Comedy Show Free Tickets Accounted For; Others Still Available For Donation

    The free tickets that had been made available for “Stand Up For Newtown,” a comedy show at Edmond Town Hall, have been accounted for, according to an email from Newtown Parks & Recreation. A block of 400 tickets had been set aside for Newtown residents, teachers and school faculty, and first responders. These tickets were free on a first-come, first-served basis. For those who live outside Newtown, or for those who missed the free tickets offer, tickets are also available for a suggested $25 donation. All proceeds from ticket sales will be divided between the Newtown Police Union and the Newtown Lions Club Foundation Inc./Sandy Hook Elementary Fund.
