‘HoRah!’ For Sub Vets and Al Potter

To the Editor:

I would like very much at this time to give a special thanks to Mr Alan P. Potter of Newtown Arbor Services.

I am a disabled war veteran. Last year, my home burned. It has been a long road back into my new house. I needed help with lifting an aqua therapy unit on to my deck, so then it could be moved into my house.

I asked the submarine veterans and VFW here in Newtown for help. Sub vets came through, and Mr Potter came to my rescue. He answered the call!

He came here with his crane and crew of men. And in a short amount of time, they rigged the unit and up it went! Safely onto the deck.

Again, I want to give a very special “thank you” to him and his crew. HoRah! HoRah!

He said to me it was his honor to help a veteran. This gives me a special meaning when someone thanks me for my service. It’s been over 50 years since I served on submarines in Vietnam, and I would do it again it a heart beat.

If anyone needs tree work, etc, I recommend Alan Potter and Newtown Arbor Service.

Truly,

Ed Cedor
