To the Editor:

The Friends of the C.H. Booth Library thanks everyone involved in making our second annual Holiday Book and Gift Boutique a smashing success: the C.H. Booth Library for providing the perfect venue, the customers who turned out in droves to shop at the Boutique, and the Friends’ tireless volunteers who kept the sale well-stocked during its six-week run.

We also thank the generous people of Newtown and surrounding towns whose donations of books, games, and media fueled this sale as well as our big annual sale, scheduled for July 8-12, at Reed Intermediate School.

Although the Holiday Boutique is now closed, you will continue to find high-quality, well-priced adult and children’s books, games, puzzles, and gift items year-round at the Friends’ Little Book Store, located near the main circulation desk at the C.H. Booth Library.

The Friends replenish the inventory regularly with an eye to readers’ favorites and seasonal themes. Enjoy the convenience of shopping locally and the pleasure of supporting Newtown’s library!
