The C.H. Booth Library invites young adults in grades five to eight to test their knowledge of four great books at the 14th Annual Battle of the Books trivia contest, set to take place on Saturday, April 25, from 11 am to 1:30 pm at the C.H. Booth Library.

This year’s books are The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill, Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper, The City of Ember by Jeanne Duprau, and Click’d by Tamara Ireland Stone.

Teams consisting of three to four people can visit the library to sign up now through Saturday, April 4. Informational packets and copies of the books are available at the library for registrants. A practice round will be held the afternoon before the event, Friday, April 24, at 4 pm.

Participants will have the opportunity to win prizes and have their names inscribed on a plaque in the Young Adult Department. Last year, The Brilliant Bibliophiles won top honors.

For more information, contact Young Adult Librarian Catherine Findorak at cfindorak@chboothlibrary.org or call 203-426-4533.
