Police Investigate Possible Larceny in Sandy Hook

Police are investigating an apparent theft which occurred at the Walnut Tree Hill Road residence of State Representative Julia Wasserman.

Police received a report on the afternoon of March 24 of a possible larceny at the residence, according to police incident logs.

“We’re investigating a complaint from that location and we’re trying to determine the facts and circumstances,” said Police Chief Michael Kehoe. The magnitude of the matter remains unclear, he said. The case appears to involve items that were found to be missing from the residence, he said.

The police chief did not provide a time period during which the missing items might have been taken, nor did he specify what is missing.
