The dispatchers at the Newtown Emergency Communications Center at Town Hall South report the following fire calls and the responders:

Thursday, April 4: 5:27 pm, motor vehicle accident, intersection of Schoolhouse Hill Road and Edmond Road, Hook & Ladder responded; 8:26 pm, wires down, near intersection of Washington Avenue and Pearl Street, Sandy Hook responded.

Friday, April 5: 3:17 pm, initial report of a structure fire was actually an equipment malfunction, 1 Beagle Trail, Botsford, Sandy Hook, and Hook & Ladder responded. 

Saturday, April 6: 5:08 pm, brush fire, near 12 Fern Lane, Botsford responded; 7:53 pm, illegal burn/outside fire, near 131 High Rock Road, Botsford responded; 9:07 pm, medical assist, Galilee Way, Dodgingtown responded; 10:44 pm, alarm, 21 Castle Meadow Road, Botsford responded.  

Sunday, April 7: No calls listed.

Monday, April 8: 1:20 pm, brush fire, near 28 Hawleyville Road, Hawleyville and Hook & Ladder responded; 5:08 pm, odor of gas outdoors, near 301 South Main Street, Botsford responded; 7:24 pm, alarm, 19 Whippoorwill Hill Road, Hawleyville responded;

Tuesday, April 9: 12:34 pm, barn fire, 64 Main Street, Hook & Ladder, Hawleyville, Sandy Hook, Dodgingtown, and Botsford responded; 4:05 pm, smoldering container, 3 Main Street, Hook & Ladder responded; 5:54 pm, illegal burn/outside fire, near 15 Bradley Lane, Sandy Hook responded; 10:33 pm, hazardous condition, 2 Bayberry Drive, Botsford responded. 

Wednesday, April 10: 3:32 am, investigation, 15 Sunset Hill Road, Hook & Ladder responded; 12:29 pm, hazardous condition, 151 South Main Street, Botsford responded; 4:22 pm, alarm, 31 Whitewood Road, Hook & Ladder responded; 7:40 pm, wires down, near 3 Oak Drive, Sandy Hook responded.
