Jessica Jowdy was named to the President’s Honor Roll at St Joseph High School in Trumbull. Craig Baldino, Megan Meier, Matthew Williams, Joni Kondas, Nicole Nonnenmacher, Daniel Gallagher, and Mary Meier were named to the Principal’s Honor Roll at the school.

Joshua Muniz and Emma Iannini of Sandy Hook were named to the Winter Term 2009 Dean’s List at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford.

Francesca Piscitelli was presented with Lycoming College’s Chieftain Award during Honors Convocation on April 19. The award is the highest honor given to a graduating senior at the college and recognizes the student “who has shown the utmost dedication and leadership qualities” while at Lycoming and whose academic rank is above the median of the preceding senior class. She also received the Service to Lycoming Award given for unselfish service and contribution to student life by a senior during their college career; and was recognized as an Institute for Management Studies Scholar. A business management and psychology major, Francesca is the president of the Campus Activities Board, a member of the Student Senate and several College governance committees, and a sister of Alpha Xi Delta sorority.

She is also a member of several honor societies at the college, including Psi Chi, for psychology; Delta Mu Delta, for business; and Gamma Sigma Alpha, for fraternity and sorority scholarship. She is also a student manager for the Office of Student Programs and Leadership Development, does work study for the Institute for Management Studies and a member of the IRUSKA honor society. Francesca has also completed internships at Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Allenwood Federal Prison as part of her coursework. In the fall, she plans to attend Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore, for a five-year doctorate of psychology program in clinical psychology.
