KCC Celebrates
Four Years Of Service
To the Editor:
Kevinâs Community Center Free Medical Clinic is completing its fourth year this summer. We offer our patients, 16 years and older, free primary care, free specialty care by referral, free laboratory and radiological services, and free or low cost prescription drugs.
Our clinic would not be possible without the continued dedication of hundreds of volunteers, the support of local charitable, religious, and fraternal organizations and partnerships with the medical, pharmaceutical, professional and business communities. Equally important to our success has been the outstanding support of our municipal and state government leaders, especially our Health District and Social Services Department, with whom we have daily contact during clinic hours.
If you have a Newtown friend or neighbor who needs medical care but cannot afford it, please have them call or visit the clinic on Wednesday afternoons between 1 and 5 pm (426-0496). We can help.
For more information and to watch our video, please visit our website, kevinscommunitycenter.org.
Thank you once again to all of our volunteers and supporters who help assure that we are all healthier in Newtown.
Sincerely,
Z. Michael Taweh, MD
President and Medical Director
