Ahead of tomorrow’s expected weather, Newtown Hikers have changed plans for this weekend.

Tomorrow's planned hike at Bulls Covered Bridge & Trail, 248 Bulls Bridge Road in South Kent, has been rescheduled to Saturday, June 3.

Hikers of all levels invited to join group under Newtown Parks & Recreation (first-timers will be asked to sign waiver) for the spring hike over easy-moderate terrain. Hiking boots and poles/sticks are recommended, as are water, tick spray and a snack.

Children are welcome with adult and must be able to maintain group’s pace. Leashed dogs are also welcome.
