Hospice Breakfast

Set For June 15

The 11th annual fund-raising breakfast of the Newtown Chapter of Regional Hospice of Western Connecticut will be held on Thursday, June 15, at the Fireside Inn from 8 to 9 am.

The breakfast is open to everyone in the community. Persons attending the breakfast do not have to buy tickets but are expected to leave “tips” which are their donations to the fund raiser.

The event, the chapter’s main fundraiser of the year, raised a record $15,000 last year. The donations enable Hospice in its mission to provide in-home care and support for persons in the final phases of incurable illnesses.

Both a regular and a lite breakfast will be served. There will be raffle prizes.

Sponsors traditionally pay $70 for a table of eight meals. Anyone who is interested in sponsoring a table, or who wants more information, should call 270-1960 or 426-3651.
