BABE RUTH MINORS, Onex (Bottom, left): Onex defeated Base Technologies, 5-4, in the Minors Division championship. Dylan O’Connor pitched well, striking out three in the final inning to preserve the win. Catcher Mario Pizighelli had a two-run single and sparked the defense by throwing out a runner attempting to steal second. Christopher Erikson tripled and scored two runs and Kevin LeBlanc was named MVP. For Base Technologies, Patrick Riccardi had two hits, Ben Stoller had a homerun, and  Colton Sposta homered, tripled, and drove in three runs. Onex team members also included Dean Baye, Anders Fogelberg, Spencer Erhardt, Sam Hill, Robbie Hughes, Chris Robinson, Zachary Carfi and coaches Dave Erikson, Steve Baye, Mario Pizighelli and manager Sean O’Connor.  Missing is coach Bobby LeBlanc.
