Dave Johnson

Dave Johnson, 43, of Rogers, Ark., formerly of Newtown, died July 27 at his home from a lengthy illness.

Mr Johnson was born June 19, 1958, in Toledo, Ohio, to Bill Johnson and Margaret (Parcell) Johnson. He graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. He enjoyed golf, reading, and traveling, and had worked for the Noxall Corporation, Revlon, Thompson Medical Company, Kendall-Futuro, Beiersdorf, Inc, and was currently vice president of sales for Evenflo. He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church of Northwest Arkansas, and moved to Rogers in November 2000, from Newtown.

Survivors include his wife, Mirjam Johnson, of Rogers, Ark.; a daughter, Natalie Sophia Johnson, of Rogers, Ark.; his parents, Bill and Peggy Johnson of Sun City Center, Fla.; a maternal grandmother, Dorothy Parcell of Toledo, Ohio; a brother, Jeff Johnson and wife, Cori, of North Richland Hills, Tex.; a sister, Betsy Spak and husband, Paul, of Hudson, Ohio; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gerard and Sophia Akkerman of Dronten, Holland.

A memorial celebration reception at the Johnson home will follow the memorial service.
