Daniel Thomas DelPercio

Daniel Thomas DelPercio, Sr, age 70, of Monroe, died peacefully July 28 at home with his loving family by his side. Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Donato and Marie (Trioni) DelPercio.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 45 years, Marie (Horvath) DelPercio; two cherished daughters, Diana Mackey and her husband, Rich, of Newtown, and Maria Ober and her husband, Gregg, of Monroe; three devoted sons, Richard Arsenault and his wife, Anne, of  Monroe, Daniel DelPercio, Jr, and his wife, Eva, of Warsaw, Poland, and Fred DelPercio and his wife, Irene, of Stratford; three sisters, Grace Ward and Madeline (Lena) Bonita, both of Stratford, and Raffaella (Ronny) Vetrosky of Trumbull; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Fred and Matthew (Matty) DelPercio, and his sisters, Irene and Rachel DelPercio.

A Navy and National Guard Veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of the American Legion Bronson Hawley Post 134. He was a past member of the Monroe Rod and Gun Club and the Monroe Nutmeg Kart Club.

Funeral services were held July 31 in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and in St Jude Church, Monroe, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment followed in Monroe Center Cemetery, Monroe.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial donations to St Jude Church Rectory Fund, through the funeral director.
