On Friday, August 5, 2022, Paul F. Wilson passed peacefully. He leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Diane; son, David from Stewart, Va.; daughter, Wendy from Fernandina Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a nephew, two nieces, and their families.

Paul was born April 23, 1931, in Bridgeport, Conn. After graduation from Harding High School, Paul served in the United States Navy with the Beachmaster-2 Unit out of Little Creek, Va., from June 1951 to May 1955. After separation, he worked as a Machinist Mate before starting his own business as an owner operator of School Bus #20 in Sandy Hook, Conn. Paul also served as a volunteer fireman at Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue, driving Engine #42.

After retiring in 1988, he moved to Crossville, Tenn., for nine years before moving to his final retirement home in Venice, Fla., in 1997.

Services were held at Kay-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home on August 16, 2022.

After cremation, final resting place will be in Gulf Pines Memorial Park, Englewood, Fla.
