DANBURY — Danbury SeniorNet is currently registering adults for its new series of four- and eight-week computer courses at Elmwood Hall, 10 Elmwood Place, in Danbury.

For beginners with no prior computer experience, there is a four-session “Computer Fundamentals” course on Monday and Wednesday, from 1 to 3:30 pm, beginning September 11.

The following eight-session courses are two to two-and-one-half hours long: “Introduction to Personal Computers” — Monday and Wednesday 1 pm to 3:30 pm, starting September 25; Using the Internet” — starting Tuesday, September 12, 1 to 3:30 pm; “Exploring Windows XP” starting Thursday, September 14, form 10 am to noon; and “Using MS Word, on Tuesday and Thursday from 6 pm to 8 pm, beginning October 10.

The fee is $40 for each eight-session course and $25 for “Computer Fundamentals.” Courses are held at the Senior Center Annex (Old Jail), 80 Main Street.
