September 3 – The Greener Red Horse Stables Dressage and Combined Training School Show will be held Saturday, Setpember 3, in Woodbury. Call 860-210-0371.

September 10 – The Avon Valley Show Stables will hold a CHJA, USEF horse show on Saturday, September 10, in Avon. Call 860-677-5260 for further information.

September 11 – Brushy Hill Farm in Southbury will hold a Schooling Show on Sunday, Setpember 11. Divisions will include Micro, Walk/Trot, Short Stirrup, Green Hunter, Low Hunter, Suitable Hunter, Equitation, Adult and Pleasure. This will be the last Schooling Show of the season. September 11 – The 4-H Nutmeg Benefit Horse Show will be held Sunday, September 11, at the Cooperative Extension System grounds on Route 6 in Bethel. The Open Schooling show features divisions in English Equitation, Hunt Seat, Western and Trail. Most classes will be pinned through sixth place with the first-place winner also receiving a trophy.
